Haryana Assembly witnessed pandemonium in the house as three members of the opposition Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) were sent out after the legislators indulged in heated exchanges with a BJP MLA and Speaker Raghbir Singh Kadian here.
After the question hour, Ram Kumar Gautam of BJP launched an attack on the INLD and its chief Om Prakash Chautala, who was not present in the house, and his sons.
The INLD members immediately protested and in the melee Shahida Khan, who had left his seat and come forward, was “named” by the Chair after which the marshals immediately took him out.
Two more INLD members Balwant Singh Sadaura and Sushil Indora were asked to leave the house after being named by the Chair.
The remaining two INLD legislators Sita Ram and Ishwar Singh also left their seats and came near the Speaker’s podium protesting against the treatment meted out to them and their colleagues.
Kadian later allowed the three MLAs to rejoin the proceedings, but only Indora returned to the house to move his non-official resolution later on the deteriorating condition of cottage industry in the state.
