SAARC car rally leaves for Delhi

The SAARC car rally that returned home from Pakistan after spreading the message of peace, today left for New Delhi, where the 14th SAARC summit begins on April 3.

“The rally has not only generated friendship among people, who definitely have common ties, but also generated greater awareness among the smaller SAARC nations like Nepal.

It has given a big fillip to Indo-Pak relations,” said Lt Col K.S. Chauhan, as he led the Indian team.

“This will not only lead to greater harmony, but also to more trade ties and opportunities for development and prosperity,” Pawar said in his address.
