Political front comprising of various groups formed in Haryana
Sonepat: In a bid to launch a “crusade against casteism, regionalism and corruption,” a new political front has been formed by various political parties, trade unions and farmer’s organisations in Haryana.
Braham Singh Dahiya, convenor of the front told reporters here today that the front includes the Janata Dal (S), Samajwadi Party, Samajik Ekta Party, Haryanaakhsha party, Garib Dal, Socialist Front, Haryana Swatantra Party, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) and the Bharashtachar Virodhi Morcha.
A joint meeting of these parties and trade unions will be held on March 25 next at Kanina in Mohindergarh district where a ‘parivartan rally’ will also he held on that day.
He said the newly-formed political front would press the state government to take immediate and concrete steps for the completion of the SYL canal along Punjab and to curb the rising crimes with a strong hand.
Dahiya also expressed concern over the non-payment of compensation on the Delhi pattern to the farmers for the land being acquired by the state government for Rajiv Gandhi Education city and other purposes.
